Customer Review: Don't buy from River Valley contact Best Buy for a recommendation.

Was excited to see the reviews. Got the package witht he bulb and housing unit. Easy to install. We replaced the old lamp with the new lamp immediately, However, after installation, noticed that the televsion had a light blue/teal/green color on the bottom of the screen. NEVER THERE BEFORE EVEN WHEN THE OLD LAMP WAS IN.
Called Best Buy and Sony, both advised that the lamp must be faulty and to get a replacement. Contacted RIVER VALLEY ELECTRONICS and spoke to Adam, he advised that the lamp can't be the problem, but to send it back for testing, I asked for a replacement to be sent and the answer was pay for it first and then we will send it out we will give you a refund on the original replacement. Then after further discussion, he changed his story when I repeated a full refund, he said well not a full refund, 20% restocking fee. Then he is it can't be the lamp must be the optical block and probably going to be a bigger problem. I asked him to send the replacement and I will send the other back, not until it is paid.
I am so upset with River Valley, I should have used MCM Electronics which was recommended by Best Buy, okay so I would have paid more, but probably would have had better service.
We as customers out of good faith, pay in advance for a product based on the sellers advising that it is a good product. But when we the customer have a problem and contact them for help and request a replacement as good faith, we are told NO!! Are you kidding me.
What kind of customer service is this.
Remember, you pay for what you get. BEWARE!!!!
