I've Owned A Sony Grand Wega 55 Inch LCD HD TV Since 2005 And I Love It!!! Yes, It's Not Perfect (Only 1 HDMI Input, 1080i) And Its A Little Bulkier Than The Newer Generation Flat Screens, But The Picture Does'nt Take A Backseat To Any Of Them, Since I Replaced The Lamp With The XL2200. I Had Attributed My Tv's Once Great, But Now Declining, Picture To My Set's Age And My Own Decreasing Eyesight.So When The Picture Suddenly Went Blank, When I Turned It On, I Did'nt Panic, But Realized That The Lamp Was Slowly Dying, And Thus Degrading My Picture In The Process. I Immediately Checked My Owner's Manual And Next Called Amazon For A Price, And Was Mildly Surprised. For Once, An Item Was Much Cheaper Than I Thought It Would Be! Just Out Of Curiosity, I Started Calling Around To Local Repair Shops And All Of Them Charged At Least A $100 Or More For This Product Than Amazon, Plus At Least $200 Or More For Home Installation! I Took The Word Of The Reviewers For This Product About Quality, And Especially Installation, And Purchased It For $153. It Arrived (More About That Later) The Next Day(Paid Extra For 1 Day Shipping, Definitely Worth It). After Carefully Consulting The Owners Manual, Once Agaim, I Installed It, In About 20 Minutes, And, WAH LAH, Done! My Picture Was As Good As New, Maybe Even Better, Considreing There Are Way More HD Channels And Sources Available Today. Now I Feel, As Though, I'm Actually Watching 1080p. I Would Have Given This Product 5 Stars, If Not For The Fact, That Even Though I Was At Home, The Delivery Person Did Not Bother To Knock On My Door, But Instead Left The Box In My Front Yard!
