I have read the crybaby reviews from "no dc adapter" to dropping it and it not working properly. Whiners. Take care of things. You aren't little kids. I have had this Walkman for 6 years with no problem. It was, for quite a number of years, my primary source of music. Alas I cannot find another. If I could I would even buy one used and repair my worn out WMFX 479. Stop crying you bunch of tape player abusers. You need Fred Flintstone equipment!
Description of Sony WMFX479 Walkman
The Sony WM-FX479 Walkman is a portable battery-operated stereo radio/cassette player. It features Dolby B noise reduction, Mega Bass, and digital AM/FM tuning with the ability to preset 30 stations (25 FM/5 AM). Stations can be tuned in manually or automatically. The Walkman has a continuous playback mode for audiocassettes. It also includes headphones, a carrying case with belt clip, and an instruction sheet.
