For so long I left my Camcorder Sony DCRPC5 in the storage, since I couldn't make it work for longer than 5 minutes (sometimes even less).
Didn't matter how long or how short I charged it's regular chargeable battery Sony NP-FS11. I have bought an extra one for spare, but didn't give me (or the camera) any good.
When I searched a second option for another battery that is compatible to DCRPC5, I found this. Sony NPFS22. Look alike with the old one, only much thicker. I gave it another shot, since we're gonna need it for our coming road trip winter vacation.
Ordered from Amazon (Ace Photo Digital), came 3 days later.
Amazingly, the battery worked like a charm. I like it, my son like it (he used the camcorder most of the time shooting everything) . We didn't even bother using an extra (lousy) batteries we brought along the way.
Great stuff. The camera look a bit 'fatter' with this thick battery, and it's pricey too ($73.95!!!). But all and all, I don't need to recycle the so called unused camcorder, anymore.
