Great sound quality and other features, but not good for use with "older" CRT screen TV's. If you don't mind "on-the-ear" fit versus the more comfortable "over-the-ear" style headphones and you've got a digital audio system or flat-screen TV, these hearphones are very good. However, when used with a CRT screen TV, the design includes little if any filtering for the RF interference given off by the Cathode Ray Tube electron "guns" and flyback yoke...all you are likely to hear is the static sound of RF gray noise. I switched them over to use with my home audio system, and they work great! They should also work well with any fully digital flat screen TV or high fidelity component TV systems.Customer Review: Why you don't want this item

These headphones work fine, but only if you place the transmitter on the
floor and sit or stand directly in front of it. The battery takes over one day to charge and the charge only lasts about 10 hours. I use it on my TV and I'm going to look for another headphone set.

My husband and I constantly fought about how loud the television was. He wanted it on about twice as loud as I do. I bought him a Sony wireless headphone system last Christmas and we both love them. He says he hears things he never heard before, background noise bothers him, and can adjust his volume the way he wants. The rechargable batteries last a long time before you even have to put them back on the charger. It is simple to plug into the back of your tv. I bought my mother a set for her birthday and my cousin ordered another set just this week. I have to admit when my husband is gone, I use them too, the sound quality is great and they are very lightweight.
