I heard that shower radios brake often! But this one is great! I have dropped it into a tub full of water, and onto the tile floor, still works great. And its really good with batteries. This one has it all: flat bottom for a shelf plus top loop for hanging; digital tuning for the radio - not the cheap dial found on other models; sealed CD player; totally waterproof even under the direct shower stream; and by-the-way terrific sound.
If you want the family to be happy with the shower radio, get this model.

I have tried several quality shower radios in the past and this Sony is definitely top notch. With recent poor weather, the weather band is a nice feature. Sound quality is above normal. Presets helpful for soapy fingers changing station or going to CD. Works as well as advertised. Quality product.Customer Review: I love it

This is a great product, with good clarity. My only criticism is that it's a bit heavy, and the suction cup for the antenna doesn't hold.
