Customer Review: Good Deal For Its Class and Price!

I was very surprised when I received this item. I felt what it possible could do for around 30.00 - 40.00 range.... Well, it is very small but bright and captures things about 2 to 3 feet away very well. It does give the effect that it is an external light, the darker the area, the more so.....But I belive most of these external light have this same effect. If shooting in the dark up to 3 feet away, it makes the difference between that of a bad shot, and a halfway to very good shot. What I mainly am going to use it for is extra lighting in a poorly lit area. Works great for this. And at that price.........
The unit snaps on to the camera very easily and tightens down. Very easy to use. You can also rotate the aim of the light, side to side and all the way around to the right. The light is very sleek and small. It is a little larger than a disposable square and rotating flash cube for an old instamatic camera. Looks good on top of the camcorder.
Only thing I don't like is the amount of juice it sucks from my HD video camera. So I bought a 10 hour extra battery for my unit. That should take care of the problem. Wish they would have included a built in charge, but then the unit would be bigger and perhaps bulky ugly. Oh, and it come with a little jewel bag pouch to store light in.
I am very happy with this item and would recommend it for the price!!!!
