I use only these tapes with my Canon HV20. They are cheap (I always buy at least 5 pack) and that is primary reason I use them. Occasionally I get tape dropouts. But I think this is normal with any brand tape and any camcorder using tapes. Also recording to tape (not only this brand, but in general) forces me to record a little bit more before actual recording, because I find that it is very hard to import first few seconds of video to a computer ( I use iMovie). I've been using these tapes for about 5 years with good result. Usual supplier was out of stock. They qualified for free shipping, which I choose, made for a very good price. Amazon had these listed in stock but it took 1 week for them to be shipped. My usual supplier gets them out the same day if you order before 3:30. It seems like there's a delay in shipping orders that qualify for free shipping. The expected delivery date is not available till after you place the order. I would not have purchased them at that time if had known it would take so long to ship them. Once shipped they came in a normal time for the US mail, 3 days to go less then 70 miles. I ordered on Sunday & it took 8 working days, received on Wed. of second week. Customer Review: Very nice quality
