Ok.. one of the reasons I bought this is that I can be connected to the computer and displaying photos at pretty much the same time.
Sadly, there are no buttons to engage a connection with your computer. You literally have to plug in and unplug the usb wire to engage/disengage your connection to your computer.
While the usb is plugged in.... you cannot use the camera to display photos. The camera displays a stupid "connected to USB message on the LCD. So pretty much you cannot be connected to a computer and displaying images at the same time.
Additionally, the camera can only be charged if the supplied AC plug is connected. You cannot charge the camera via the usb connection.
Really a wasteful product to buy. Would have been better designed to have a powered "on all-the-time" USB connection that connected you to your computer while charging while displaying your camera as a digital photo frame.
Direction regarding the functionality within the manual are lacking .. mainly because this station provides no functionality other than to hold your camera. Was better off using the supplied cord that came with the camera.
