The drive works as intended but is not worthy of 4 or 5 stars because it is mediocre quality. The drive tray mechanism is not subdued or quit. The mechanism also, while moves firmly, does not instill quality of movement. This product was used in a hackintosh and has offered no problems in functionality or compatibility.
