OK, the reason we bought 2 of these is because my 93 year old mother-in-law can't figure out any remote other than this one. In her lifetime we have bought her about 15 of these. That being said the reason we have is because the volume control buttons have broken every time and along with that, sometimes the channel up and down button buttons broke too.
Now, we know she pushes those buttons and uncharacteristically large amount of times but still they shouldn't break that oftern.
Regardless, a relatively decent product for the price and if you used it normally you would 'prolly be ok.
